The British Museum selects Curator  Cultures of Italy and Western Mediterranean

Requirements:

•  Specialist knowledge of the artifacts and archaeology of pre-Roman and Roman Italy and the western Mediterranean up to c. 300 AD.
• BA/BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
• Experience of fieldwork, research and publication
• Some knowledge of written and spoken Italian
• Experience of working with a collection
• Some experience of management issues (people, projects, budgets)
• Open, effective communicator with good spoken and written English
