Maths and Science department

We are looking for a Maths and Physics Teacher to join our team for an immediate start. We are a British International School following the English National Curriculum. As a school that opened three years ago, we currently cater to students from EYFS to Year 9, with plans for annual expansion. We are looking for someone who will make positive contributions towards the Maths and Science departments.

The successful candidate will have:

- A degree in Maths, Physics, or a related field. - A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, or working towards one. - Competence in using educational technology/software to enhance lessons and excellent interpersonal communication abilities for effective interaction with students and parents. - Flexibility in their methodologies. - Excellent teamwork skills and collaboration.

Legal Requirements:

- Valid references, and have an up-to-date CRB check (Certificado de delitos de naturaleza sexual).

Duties:

To contribute to curriculum development by designing and planning Schemes of Work for the Maths and Physics departments´ growth. To teach Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 students (Maths and Physics). To attend parents’ meetings and collaborate with them to improve students’ progress.
