SELECTION CRITERIA:
MSc in Business Administration or Economics are preferred. Other relevant degrees could beconsidered. MBA will be highly valued. 2-year experience in the above mentioned activities or related functions. Experience and/or knowledge in the field of logistics and transport will be highly valued. Fluent in English (excellent speaking and writing skills). Minimum level C1 or similar. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Excellent teamwork skills, strategic thinking, willingness and ability to work with no or littlesupervision. Self-driven initiative and entrepreneurial attitude will be a plus. Availability to travel, once the current pandemic crisis is over.
TASKS:
We are looking for an Open Innovation Specialist, with experience in the field to join a multi-skilled team specialized in R&D, innovation and consultancy projects in the field of transport, logistics and ports for the coordination of the daily operations of open innovation activities and projects in the port sector. More precisely, the following activities are foreseen: Support to the open innovation processes, participating in calls for startups, startup selection processes, startup incubation and acceleration, etc. Coordination with the different participants in the activities, and with stakeholders of the innovation ecosystem (partners, corporates, public, research centers, academia, etc). Marketing and communications activities, including the participation in events representing Fundación Valenciaport, promoting its open innovation initiatives. Follow-up of pilot projects, as well as the progress of the startups and other participants in the different programs. Impulse and promote the activities and events. Review and control KPIs, preparing progress reports. Collaboration with other teams in the organization to ensure the open innovation initiatives are coordinated with projects in other areas, such as Training and R&D&I. Management of co-working spaces and labs, acting as facilitator of the services for the participants in the different activities.
